Hello From
Shine was created from a commitment for people to be seen and heard in the world, and ultimately get their worth.
Originally, the concept of Shine, began with my own journey as a performer and the challenges that I faced with wanting the world to see me, to unleash my gifts and yet I was hiding away. I began by building a 12 week curriculum for other aspiring artists to face their fears. In the process, I discovered, this wasnt just about Performers, it was about everyone. However we are – in one area of our lives – is how we do life in other areas.
The Shine program serves as a catalyst to connect and release the power already within us, and to shine a light in whatever area of your life that you are committed to.
Shine is an experiential process.
It is a combination of team building, mindfulness, breath & voice techniques, leading to a main arts-based activity, that is designed to challenge participants to bring about positive, permanent shifts in the quality of their life.
Participants are equipped with tools they can take with them, use and share wherever they go.
Come as you are. Everyone is welcome!
Shine can be presented in multiple formats:
1 to 1 coaching,
small group coaching,
3-hour workshop,
5-hour workshop and
weekend retreats.

Dian Buckley has spent her lifetime using Music, Expressive Arts, Teaching and building Empowerment Programs to make a difference in the world. Thirty years as a Singer-Songwriter, 16 years as a Performing Arts Teacher and 6 years as an Introduction Leader for a Personal Development Program. She realized from an early age how the voice can heal, when her Sicilian grandad (a Semi-Professional Opera Singer) lost the ability to speak, due to the impact of Dementia, but was still able to sing to her.
She has toured the world as a Singer-Songwriter, focusing on using her gifts as a tool to share from the heart to the heart, such as being commissioned to write and perform for 12.12.12, a World Peace event, which was televised throughout the world from the UK.
Dian is an accredited Performing Arts Teacher and a Vocal Coach. She has an intentional focus on Continuing Education, including Dramatherapy, Transformative Leadership, and Teaching Creativity within Special Education. Her experience has been rich and varied – from being Head of Performing Arts for “Helen Allison School”, an Autistic School in the UK (Ages 5-20 years old), teaching Music in an Orphanage, Sunday & Presbyterian Schools in Ghana, Africa to empowering all ages, genres, and professions in freeing their voice.
She created “Shine” 12 years ago. It is an experiential process, using the Arts as a tool for people to be seen, heard and trust themselves and each other. Shine was based upon Dian’s journey from the challenges of being an artist. It has now served populations from MusiCares, Musicians, Business Leaders, Landmark Education Introduction Leadership Body (Orange County), Teachers, Womens Retreats, Schools & Colleges, Clinicians and Treatment Centers.
Dian has been in recovery from an Eating Disorder since 1996.
“Dian is a unique and immensely talented individual. She has a special ability to bring out the best in whoever she works with” — Head of School, Helen Allison, UK.
